i got the 4ac aircon on my 4ag, it works fine. although i'm running carbs. The efi bit will have something to do with the idle up possibly. I run a v-belt pulley from the 4ac on the 4ag, the timing cover need to be trimmed a bit so you can adjust the belt. It's still an A block so everything should bolt on, it's just a matter of if something else is in the way, ie the distributor is where the 4ac alternator goes, so needs to be relocated to the drivers side. I don't have powersteer though, does anyone with a ae86 have power steer?
It might be possible to leave the AC system as a totally seperate system from the efi. Just means you can't run the AC at idle, it engages the magnetic clutch, this slows the motor, the AC senses this and disengages the magnetic clutch, repeat to fade.
Good luck
