My with my 4AC my car vibrated like all f#*k... when I pulled it out it turned out to be the engine mounts had bent slightly and the metal was touching each other and transmitting the engine vibration to the chassis... a bit of TLC with a big hammer fixed the problem. It was most noticible (read: bloody annoying) when idling.
Dont know if this helps at all...
