Yeah, maybe it's a bit of a cornball idea, the sorta money I want to spend is the sorta money we should be spending on normal tyres for the cressida, so I think I'll just put in for 4 new good tyres for normal use & get the 2 best old ones put on the mags for drag duties. We'll just have to ease up on the really smokey burnouts. 
BTW, the old tyres are Pirelli P5000s, & they seem pretty good to me, considering the power they're putting down.
