Pod filters do not necessarily offer a performance increase over a late-model factory airbox and filter. In fact it's quite common to lose performance when installing a pod filter. This is because people insist on fitting them even when there's absolutely nothing wrong with the factory setup; they just do it because it's the "done thing".

So my advice is to throw the shitty pod filter in the bin, and re-install the airbox which was carefully designed by Toyota's engineers.
