Thanks for the info guys, I'm learning. 
Jason, I was meaning to ring you first thing, & I thought I'd just chuck this thread up before I sat down & called you, but then I lost track & it got pretty late etc etc.
I've come to the conclusion though that as usual, if I'm gonna do it, I may as well do it right the first time. I think I'll wait until my car's ready to go before I splash out on some dedicated drag tyres, the cressida's old pirellis on my old mags should do the job for the cressida until then. It's not as if my brother lets me drag it that often anyway.
And when I do decide to take the plunge, I'll have a look into the ideal wheel & tyre size, & by that time, there's a slight chance I may have changed to 5 stud anyway.
Clint, those tyres would be a perfect fit on my celica, and the cressida does have a brake upgrade planned that will require 16s. I'll definitely have a good think about it. Thanks mate.
