every generation of 3sge has a different head - and after gen2 they blocks were similar, but not the same.
turbo motors run much bigger potts in the heads.
pistons should fit - but rods/cranks may be different!
by the way the gen1 3ge was basically a 1s motor with a twin-cam head. the 3sgt (st165 gt4 celica)was basically the same as the gen2 type motor - very different.
