basically you need a narrow band, with a signal wire going to ECU.

narrow bands come in 1,2,3 and 4 wire versions.

1 wire is just signal to the ECU and it grounds thru your exhaust
2 wire has signal to ECU and a seperate grounding wire for better signal.

3 and 4 wire have two wires for a heater to keep it at the correct temperature and get to temperature faster. the heater pulls maybe 4A when cold and maybe 1A when hot.

the 3rd wire on the 3wire is same as 1 wire... grounds thru exhaust.

the 3rd and 4th wires on a 4wire is same as 2 wire. ECU signal and seperate ground wire for better signal.

basically 4 wire gives the most stable signal and can be placed further away from the motor.

you have PM.
