You can make your own short shifter for practically nothing.

All the TRD short shifter does is move the tab for connecting the shift cable further up the stick. You can pull the shifter apart, grind off the tab and then weld it on further up the stick.

I did this with my AW11 about 2 years ago and it worked like a charm even with the terrible welding I did with a dodgy old stick welder. I did however redo it recently and get it welded well, but that is because I wanted to shorten the shift further. The problem with moving the tab too far up the stick is that the shift cable will rub on the centre console, this can be fixed by making a spacer to go between the plate that bolts to the floor and the shifter bolt face.
