GT,
Roof chop was apparently 3", The door glass are all custom 1 piece items and its tinted glass not a tinted window. Rear window is EX Morris Minor and I had that one done in mirror tint.
It had a wild old engine in it but She got a bit of a vibration as you neared the top of the speedo. She got there pretty quick for a 2lt 4cyl and regularly saw the 100 mph plus side of things. I actually found the dealership that built it for there customer, the roof chop alone was $7000.
Inside was all retrimmed and updated. It had been some ones pride and joy but ended up traded in unreg at a car dealership. They didn't know what it was and were only asking $3000 for it. I saw it and the girlfriend of the time told me I was not allowed to buy it........ SO I went home got the Money and had it towed home LOL. We didn't last long after than and I kid you not. EVERY time she got inthe car it broke down ! And other than that... It NEVER broke down LOL
I sold it when I got married, The exhaust pulsing from the cam used to blow open the doors on the neigbours Built ins of the flat we moved into, LOL. With the noise and the late nights home from work it was a bit of an issue for the rest of the flat. It was a bloody fun car tho. I would have loved to have kept it but hey you can't keep all of em.
