There is no real problem (IMO) in running the SC14 backwards and just swapping the inlet and exhaust since the SC14 doesnt run twisted rotors.

That said, a possible problem might be the reversing of the side of the teeth on the gears that take the load. Kind of suck it and see.

Make sure that if you pull the SC14 apart that you mark the gears and they go back together in EXACTLY the same mesh. This is a good idea as the teeth wear in a particular pattern.
