Hi Simon,
thanks for the reply. The reason I replaced the radiator cap was because the old one was not holding pressure. We eventually found out that it was the radiator cap that was giving us problems from the beginning. the seal on the original radiator cap was eroded. And the only reason i got the trd one was that a mate suggested getting it (only reason). But since the new trd radiator cap has been fitted, i have not had any other issues with heating (pressure problems).. i am only concerned about the pressure opening figure that the cap specifies: trd 1.3 (18 psi) cap vs stock 1.0 (13 psi) cap.
