Registered: May 2002	Re: Mod MR2 Tranny to FWD Fri, 28 May 2004 12:14 the selector mechanism is different and wont swap easily. also, the MR2 turbo has a separate 1/2 axle on 1 side and the mounts for this are diferrent on celica. the turbo gearbox cases start life as the same castings, but are differently machined. the non turbo tranny wont handle the turbo engine for long--it is just a boggo camry type tranny get a turbo celica tranny , and dont waste your time [Report message to a moderator]
