Putting 2 inch shorter springs in with the stock shocks will make it one very stiff and bumpy ride.....

Will look pretty cool but is not real practical.

I know, I did the same thing to my old ST162 celica. The shocks were pretty much fully compressed perminently at the front... which didn't leave much room for things like bumps in the road.

It will handle like a go cart on nice smooth surfaces.... but these only really come on race tracks these days.

Eventually I hit a block of concrete lying in the middle of the Princess Hwy that appeared between the rear tyres of the car infront. Had no time to avoid it and it smashed in to something under my car (sump, crossmember?) and I got a little air. When I landed it snapped a spring.... so I had to put the old ones back in.

If you want my opinion, wait till you can get shocks to match.... If you can get the springs cheap... go for it but keep your originals incase something goes wrong or you don't like it.
