The exact same thing happened to me one night coming home from a late shift in the city. A cop in a paddy wagon saw me fly down Market St (around the back of the QVB) and (unbeknownst to me) gave chase. He caught up to me when i was stopped at a set of lights after Anzac Bridge down behind Glebe sort of area.. Said he'd been doing 120 across the bridge and still couldn't catch me.. He would've LOVED to give me a ticket, but basically came out and said he couldn't because he couldn't catch up to get a speed reading! :phew: dude they can't really hold that one up in court anyways. they either need a radar or a CALIBRATED SPEEDO (with the necessary cal sticker on the car). A paddy wagon has neither. At least that is how it used to work not all that long ago when I had relo's in the Highway Patrol. [Report message to a moderator]
