thanks lumpy, i'll give that go, tho i did try and tighten that a while ago, but was that fucking tight, and couldn't stop it from turning either, pretty sure i had it in a gear too, how do i stop it from turning when doing it up?
as for oil level, thats fine, i only changed the oil/filter last week and have drove it once since.
water pump i replaced about 2 months ago, and engine mounts i replaced 5 months ago
will check fan mounts and alternator bearings on the weekend.
do i have to put a aftermarket oil pressure gauge on to check the oil pressure? the stock one a bit dodgy are they ED?
if the big end bearing has gone, will the crank pulley just be able to move around when theres no belts on? like will i be able to wobble the pulley if its gone? or is it harder to tell then that?
