dingaling Forums Junkie Location: tas Registered: June 2002	Re: ma70 knocking/clunking noise Tue, 01 June 2004 06:30 or do as i did, make a new woodruff key, and a bracket that goes over the crank bolt and bolts to the pulley (this bracket has a cutout in the shape of the crank bolt, wich prevents it from loosining) That was the end of my wobbling crank problems. But i don't think geoff's knocking is related to his crank pulley. Could be a too thin of an oil like i have put in my 7m (5w-50)which starts clanking in the head. whent away with a thicker oil (10w-40). You should try to pinpoint where the knocking is comming from, could just be vavle clearances? [Report message to a moderator]
