I paid $4500 for an unregistered rolling shell (no box and motor). It was worth saving up for the better condition one. In the short term you will save $1000 buying a cheaper one, but will need to spend double fixing it up. I have no rust in the tailgate or the spare wheel well, which is unheard of!
