the temp sensors will often show divergence at low temps, but be pretty similar at high temps...

as Blucksupra says, you can always retain the stock temp sensor for your gauge, and tap it in somewhere... probably the easiest way to go, as long as there is a spare space for it (where the 1J's gauge sensor was?)
