the specs on cars are always in katakana because they don't have any "real" japanese words for car tuning stuff. And it is "cool" to be english over there
I had a quick search on the http://www.d1gp.co.jp/ site and there doesn't seem to be any yellow sprinters there? I can't be stuffed getting my kanji book to see if any of those fellows are Maedasan
