Had a guy around last night to look at the steering, and seems that a rack & pinion conversion can be done rather cheaply. I was very impressed that he mentioned "geometry" and "bump steer" during our conversation. Will be calling the exhaust shop on Monday to put off the job and getting the steering done straight away. Feel a bit silly stuffing them around, but there's no point getting the exhaust done, then having to re-do it before the car even sees the road!! The only issue with the steering conversion is going to be the sump, hopefully that doesn't provide too many headaches. [Report message to a moderator]
