help with Ae-86 flasher can problem

in my Ae-86 I have replaced the front indicators with my own that are lit up with LEDs, while the units themself are good my flasher can doesnt sense the current and flashes rapidly because of it. I have been told that I can buy an electrionic flasher can that solves the problem, however I went to Autonahn and the guy had no idea. Does anyone know what I should get?
