Wait.

Are your bushes and steering gear in good condition?

First inspect and if necessary replace the following;

  • tie rod ends (inner and outer)
  • idler arm
  • pitman arm
  • front control arm bushings
  • lower ball joints
  • radius strut bushings
  • rear trailing arm bushings (upper and lower)
  • rear damper upper bushings
  • lateral rod bushings

If these are in poor condition they should be replaced first; why build a nice house on sand?

(If you're not clear what these parts are or what they do it's a good idea to learn.)

Then consider whether you're happy with stock brakes, as a front brake upgrade will almost definately require a strut change which will in turn affect your spring and damper selection.

With these factors addressed you could consider your application for the car. Grega has suggested King springs; the $130 off-the-shelf King springs will be progressive rate, probably approximately 80-170lb or similar. Are progressive rate springs what you want or do you want linear springs?

What spring rate would best suit your desired application?
What dampers will you use to adequately control this spring?

Im needin a suspension setup any suggestions?

Suggestion: If you do some research and work on the car yourself you'll learn a lot and get exactly what you want when you do come to spend your money.

thinkin cheap heh heh anyone got stuff to sell??

Things done right are rarely cheap as such; by doing some research (see 'suggestion' above) you can get value for your money, and that's just as good.

I'm refitting a suspension system for my TA22 for street/track use at the moment please feel free to PM me! If you're really "thinkin' cheap" you can borrow my angle grinder on the proviso that you don't drive around near me again. Shocked

get monroe gt gas - $90 for the rear $180 for the front

KYB's are also available for a bit more than that ~ KYB, Monroe and Pedders are probably your only straightforward options.

I heard that Pedders dampers are made under licence by Monroe; I'm not sure whether the product is the same or not though, the Pedders/Monroe units may comprise different parts.
