On the M thru to 6M, the plug is located on the exhaust side, lower third of the block, near cylinder no 6. It may be different on the 7M, but I'd look there for starters. It is usually blocked with scale/rust so water may not come out even if the tap bolt is removed. A small piece of wire/screwdriver usually works a treat.
