Wed, 09 June 2004 01:23 I was once pulled over for "over taking in the left hand lane". The copper asked me "Do you know what the law is about over taking in the left hand lane? What would have happened if there was a truck around the corner" Me "Err, I dunno, I would've braked I imagine" Cop "Oh, getting smart are we?" Me "How about the law about remaining in the left hand lane unless overtaking on a road posted at 80km/h or above" (at this point the cop realises he's the only person who was breaking a law whilst travelling slowly in the middle lane on a 90km/h road over taking no one) Cop "Whatever dickhead" (walks back to cop car, and speeds off down road in frustration) Me "wtf?" [Report message to a moderator]
