People expect respect (etc) no matter what position they're in hence why goods deeds are rarely noticed...unfortunate but true people are always going to remember the sour taste that gets ledt in their mouth after any encouter be it from law enforcement or your local take-away but when you have someone in a position of authority who takes it to the extreme/abuses their privlidge people are going to get narky...whether it be police, politicians or whoever it seems to be the australian way you've raised good points russ...i've been stopped a few times for rbt's/speeding etc etc and for the most part the officer has been really nice...after all they are just "averge joe" like anyone else out there...treat them how you wish to be treated. That said there are some real wankers that dont deserve a badge...i think thats what this thread is for..a bit of a rant on the power trippers.
