Wed, 09 June 2004 14:09 1j's with stock ecu's all have this phenomenon, build boost quicker on a part throttle. I dont think what you are experiencing is Boost cut, it is much more savage than mere boost dropping off. You shouldnt reach boost cut till about 14 psi. Sounds like you have some sort of rich fuel condition triggered by the WOT. (This is normal - but perhapps yours is exagerated by some factor). [Report message to a moderator]
