Thanks mate for the warning. I've heard RA40 tie rods are better suited as they are longer.
I'm hoping this combo will help eliminate some bump steer from my RA28.
I needed to shorten the rack in order to have the control arms and tie rods the same length. But now with shorter steering arms, the tie rods will be extended which should bring them to a closer length.
It also may allow a slightly sharper steering angle which is always good (assuming it doesn't hit anything) . Otherwise, I can shorten the rack slightly without having to worry about loosing what max steering angle is already there.
