i had a bloke offering the whole cable for $30 here in brisbane.
thing is, i dont actually know whats wrong with my handbrake, all i know is that it gradually gotten weaker and weaker and now i have no handbrake whatsoever. its been tightened at the handbrake to the max, without any difference. so $260 is a lot of money, when i dont actually know if thats the problem or not.
let me have a think about it. ill be going down to see the mechanic to see what he thinks tomorrow.
