Rod: the guy that had originally built the engine told me it had been ported. I had the engine in my car for maybe 15kms, and down low it felt like it had tons of balls, nothing like any 2tg i've ever driven. I think the guy chose the #262 engine because they were the most similar to a 3tgte apparently, and he put oil lines into the block (as the #262 2tg already had the oil line castings or something?).
batesy: how far have you got with your hybrid engine? i can't really afford more 2tg parts at the moment. maybe we could make some swap with my efi gear? i'll have to think about some things first but.
