hmm ok a few things...you say you have a 1.8i (is the 'i' meant to stand for injected?), RA60's are meant to come with a "21RC", which is a 4 cylinder, 2 Liter, 12 valve SOHC. (edit: dammit its a 21rc not a 20 lol)
Anyway you refer to installing an "air intake chip but obviously cant install it coz theres no CPU/ATI ", if its an injected motor it will have an ECU....hell I don't even know what you have, is it the stock motor or not?!
Anyway in reference to the "1G", the 1G-GTE is a 2L, 24 valve twin cam, twin trubo motor, which is a very nice upgrade for a RA60 (do a search if you want to know more about the 1G  )
