The most cost effective thing you could do with the 21R-C is probably swap in a hotter camshaft. I have done it with good results. I've just got a stage 1 trd copy (or equiv 272). After that I'd definately get extractors and larger exhaust system. You wont need a cat thanks to 1982/83 emissions laws  . Then depending if you are after more power, consider changing the carb to either a bigger downdraft, some nice 40mm sidedrafts, or just go straight to EFI. Take a look on eBay for 22r  .

Not that I know of, you would have to go custom.

hmm ok a few things...you say you have a 1.8i (is the 'i' meant to stand for injected?), RA60's are meant to come with a "21RC", which is a 4 cylinder, 2 Liter, 12 valve SOHC. (edit: dammit its a 21rc not a 20 lol)

Heh, I wish it had 12 valves. Its more like 8  .
Also I forgot to add, check out www.lcengineering.com for performance parts. These guys specialise in 20/22R's. The 21R is a small bore version of the early 22R motor. In Australia we go the later 22R motor (in efi version) but it used the analog efi which is poo.
