Mate if you are going to change compression by replacing the pistons then it would be the perfect time to fit the 3T crank. The increased displacement will go a long way to making that cam more drivable. Increased displacement will add torque to help carry the addd lift and duration. I wouldn't go anymore than 10.5:1 compression if you intend to keep using pump fuel (98 Octane)
In Tina's it was only 9.8:1 but it dealt with bigger cams than you have there. (Camtech L1 Cosworth Race grind) admittedly it had next to nothing below 4500 RPM.
