I guess I should explain the reason for my strange question... I'm having a mechanic put a new motor in my MX83 Cressida. The mechanic has told me that he has got me a low millage 7M-GE jap import which came from a 97 Supra? Basically I was just trying to check if this information is true because I found it hard to believe that a 97 Supra would use something like that. Now the problem is that this same mechanic put a jap import 5M-GE in my MX73 Cressida and told me the engine came from a 92 Supra? I'm not complaining about the work though, I've been running the MX73 with the new engine for a year and it's ultra smooth and has plenty of power, really a great car with the new engine. I'm just wondering if this guy's telling me furfeys or is just not real switched on when it comes to Toyotas? The engines this guy gets come from 'ICHIban Performace Engines' in MOOREBANK NSW if that helps anyone. Thoughts? [Report message to a moderator]
