Clutch type vs Cone type LSD Mon, 14 June 2004 22:39 Go to previous message
I was talking to someone who rallies a Ford Falcon on the weekend, and the topic of LSD's came up and I told him about my plans to either get a TRD LSD or a BW78 LSD for my car.

Anyway, he recommended that I go with a TRD LSD (even though for the same sort of money I don't get the rear discs) because he recons the clutch type LSD's work much better and don't wear out as quickly because there's a lot more surface area to wear, where's the cones in the BW78 tend to wear rather quickly and don't work as well...

What do you think?
