Pete: The turbosmart ones do have a positive pressure inlet at the top of the can, yes, you are right.
However it's the actuation of the valve that differs. Basically, boost control is not a good with a turbo smart one. It will start opening at (lets just say you have it set at 20 psi) something like 16-17 psi and then will be fully open at 24psi.
But you wanted it set at 20psi did you not? Oh well, get what you pay for. 
The tial one will open on 20psi and stay at 20psi.
And yes, you are right, the trust 45mm ones do open up a big way, and guess how much you pay for those little baby's.
fly_psi: It's possible that they will still be around in a few months, but I'm not certain. Just get a hold of me when you want it and i"ll find out.
