It's not really a sports car...the GT4 is, but the Celica SX isn't.
It's still bloody good, and quite quick. Problem is the bullshit factor, alot of other car owners tend to talk themselves up with figures and various other BS that they can't back up...I like to stick to the facts.
This is rife on the internet (for example, claiming that a ST162 can do sub 9 seconds to 100km/h stock).
If you want to know how "good" a car is, go drive one  I think you'll find the ST162 goes, turns, stops etc extremely well for the price tag, and it doesn't look as trashy as some other cars of it's period.
And sorry to say to the Sleeka ST owners here, but your car *needs* the 3S-GE badly - the ST162 is fairly underpowered as it is, let alone dropping the figure from 103kW to 86kW.
