Wed, 16 June 2004 02:38 onto the block they are a straight swap, but the manifolds and carbys dont seem to be from what ive seen first hand . the 3t version of manifold and carby i had was about an inch longer in stud spacing for the carby mounts , they look similar but there was no chance in hell that a 2t carby would bolt to it , or vise versa .. This may be due to it being a later model 3t carby setup ( possibly frm a t18 ) It has all wires and anti pollution crap hanging off it .. I still have the 3t carby in question in the shed if anyone wants a picture + i can measure up the stud spacing to see if there is a difference .. Anyway - afterall - a weber 32/36 is still the overall best option to swap , Much nicer than that aisan crap [Report message to a moderator]
