Wed, 16 June 2004 04:24 Not really, you're better of getting a whole later model gearbox as by the time you pay to fit a center viscous diff you're gonna be up for similar dollars anyway and the later boxes are much stronger anyway. Basically the later the stronger. Not much to pick between the 205 and ST185 GrpA boxes other than ratios and rumour has it a larger rear viscous coupling. I'd just run what the car comes with until it breaks and then bin the 165 box and upgrade. If it never breaks then you've had good luck and saved some dollars. With any powerup though i think you're gonna break it good excuse to go with the full 205 driveline into a 165....that would be a nice combo [Report message to a moderator]
