I have the same car and since you say it's comming from around the crank pully area it's more than likely to be the water pump. You can try to add an additive to the radiator (think its called radiator stop leak or something) but I doubt the $3 stuff is going to work. Id suggest getting it replaced with a water pump made in japan which comes with a lifetime warranty but they cost $85.(http://www.marlows.com.au/8010580.html) The thing is it's a pain in the backside to install since the timing belt cover has to come off & your working in a tight space. My advise is do the thing properly once so you don't have to remove everything again.
