the 7m bottom end isnt much weaker than a 1jz...it is only the pistons that arent as strong...

From a lot of reports from the fellow making my pistons, 7m and the jz bottom ends are very similar strength wise.

rods from a 7m/1j/2j are amazingly strong...
And the hardened cranks are amazing...my crank had done 223000km when i pulled the motor apart to rebuild, i had it cleaned, hit it with a bit of wet n dry and i doubt you could tell it wasnt new.

Although the car is a dyno queen, the 7mgte supra in melbourne with 532RWKW was running stock crank and rods...i mean come on...nissan cant make shit that strong can they??
