I don't understand the argument.
The engines are 'stock'. So in stock form the argument is irrelevant. Both are well proven engines that with adequate servicing and operation within the bounds set by the manufacturers will provide excellent service.
If you then want to talk about how much fully sik boost each engine might tolerate, then the engines are not really stock anymore and are not as the manufacturer intended. The argument becomes null and void.
As Einstein said, "Only two things are endless - stupidity and the universe, but I'm not so sure about the latter." You and your chump mate fit into the former category.
