Les Forums Junkie Registered: May 2002	Re: another fine article from the media on performance cars Sat, 14 September 2002 10:44 I dont know what it is, whether it be the licensing system, or the people who drive these cars....but i have to admit that i thought i was pretty good until i had my crash (my fault and all)... but what is it do YOU think causes these accidents ? i put it down to car too fast slow speed limits inexperience ego games like gran turismo. I dont think the licensing system has much to do with how ppl drive (but i am suprised how they pass some ppl who cant reverse park hehehe) i think its more peoples mentality, what they get taught at home and the people they hang around... we should know to value life a bit more - i know i sure do now and the only time i will be trying a powerslide at 110 kmh will be at a race track ! i think a speed limiter (as in japan) is an awesome idea i.e. possibly limit to 120-130 while you are on the streets ?? who knows.. or maybe disallow younger drivers to drive "hot rods" heheh like evos, gtrs. .... BUT then that is just penalising the majority of ppl who ARE careful and enjoy their cars. [Report message to a moderator]
