collars are 4" long so you have about 3.5" for adjustment.

For tubes that are smaller in dia then the AE86/TA22/RA21
there are rubber O-rings that slide around the tubes and the sleve fit over those.
Mine fit like a glove. I even had to clean off the tubes to get the sleves to fit.
