Whatever u do DONT go to NUCO smash repairs
they are cheap but they do the most dodgiest, unprofessional jobs....talking from experience.

Firstly let me introduce myself... i am a customer of Nuco and many times over and know both Dave & Rick personally as well... i admit i was a little shocked to stumble over this post where you defame the shop and its employees... i did query this with the boys and they do recall who you are and what you went to their workshop for... i wont broadcast your request for what i deem as minor repair job costing less than $200 in which you did not pursue... from the information you were at this time a schoolboy with what i can only assume one of possible first cars with a limited budget... a word of advice my young friend; dont expect a lambo finish for silver coins! Maybe you have grown some what since this elaborate display of disrepect and defamation of a reputable repairer... im hoping so...
anyhow i have posted this reply in defence of Nuco Smash Repairs and its employees and to express my satisfaction with their work and modest fee's... you should be enlightened that one of many workshops will be up front and not rob you blind... the work is above many a standards and to top it off they are a friendly bunch that will offer you a beer on friday afternoon should you be collecting your repaired vehicle...

That road that Joins up to pittwater rd with that Volvo(?) dealership on the right .....its a VERY discreet shop......
when going TOWARDS pittwater road along that road its on the left....like i said very discreet.....u go down a narrow driveway. If i can get the card off my mate ill let u know the address
i haven't been there personally ...but like i said the way they went about things they seemed alot more pro....also with the whole bus accident thing he gave me a quote and said next time u come back ill do it cheaper for u so u can make a profit....so they seemed as though they liked to keep customers
but remember i havent personally been there to get anything done....just 2 quoutes and they were very helpful with questions i had.

As it seems in your spare time you are a repair shop critic! so let me get this straight? you visit many repair shops in the brookvale area requesting quotation for work you dont intend on having done? ... as for the above stated or unstated repairer... this is your idea of a 'Pro' why? did you inspect completed works? speak with any satisfied customers? or is it because they expressed giving you a cash kick-back or should i say defraud the insurance company for theirs and your own benefit?! obviously they appreciate your business!
manipulate wrote on Sun, 27 October 2002 20:44 | Also DONT go to brookvale smash repairs......they tried to rip me off big
|
OK lets hear it then... what work did you have done??? how did they rip you off? (and not the insurance company!)
Mani... a little advice, before you tarnish the name and income of people trying to make a living and prosper in their chosen fields... maybe give a little consideration and respect!
Once again i am not associated with any of the above workshops and am merely a happy paying customer... below i have posted two of my bikes that were prepared by Nuco... I have also had my other vehicles repaired their: Jeep Wrangler & Nissan 200sx.
Feel free to reply, comment, flame or argue... i have nothing personally to gain by this post, I just felt i had to defend an unvalid claim... we all have done and said immature things in our youth... i just didnt want this to be left un-challenged...
