indigoid Regular Location: Canberra, ACT Registered: September 2002	Re: another fine article from the media on performance cars Sun, 15 September 2002 03:16 gentlemen, i wrote off my ae112 rolla (without "assistance" from other cars) doing no more than 60km/h. luckily there was nobody else in the car, particularly in the front passenger-side seat as they would have been mashed to bits, almost certainly dead. you don't need to be going fast to do a lot of damage. i somehow managed to escape unharmed; good thing i chose a model with airbags, pretensioners, and the like. as for the "if you lose it at 160+ you're dead" brigade - if you're doing these sorts of speeds on public roads you deserve it anyway. heard of Darwin? j.
