sorry people, i dont think i did post my question properly and you have seemed to misunderstand me.
I don't have unlimited money to spend, i meant that i have enough money to actually get the job done properly with DECENT parts, not expensive brand name / custom parts. I'm looking along the lines of turbo's and intercoolers from other cars. Also, ill be doing all the work except tuning the ecu and manufacturing the plumbing/exhaust/ex. manifold myself.
And with respect to time, I meant that i have the time to do the job properly, but not the sort of time i know people put into these projects when it involves some serious modification. I dont want to make the job unecessiraly difficult, otherwise i would have gone for an sr20 or something similar, and i chose the 4agze for simplicity (as does everyone else). The sprinter is my only car, and i am studying at uni, so the conversion will have to be done in the span of maybe a month or so over a holiday.
The main aim of my post of just to equip myself with some decent information so i could get the best results for a good cheap price.
BTW, the power output i am hoping for is somewhere around 180hp - 190hp at the wheels, which i have heard is not too unreasonable. Although, the main aim of my ecu tuning will be drivability.
Sorry for the wording of my first post, and please forgive me, i'm new to forums and didnt realise how specific i had to be. Don't think i'm one of those people with endless money to waste, because Im definately NOT. I'm also not the sort of person to leave everything in the hands of a "professional" who'll be wanting to sell their own parts to me, but i am willing to invest the right amount of money to do the job well.
Sorry all, and thanks for correcting me.
