Hrm I haven't checked the thermostat yet, thinking about it logically now, that is probably stuck open!!! It would be a bitch as they aren't cheap and it is a brand new one I fitted less then 3000k ago!! I'll check it when I do the 200,000k service in a week or two. 
Now I feel daft, but you get that on the big jobs at 130am in the morning. I think i have been working too much lately to think logically. Considering I fell asleep on my keyboard the other night at 2am while finishing stuff for work!
