You have to depressurise the system first by pulling an EFI fuse then cranking the engine a few times until it stalls. I didn't think taking out the rail was particularly hard, but was just stressing to find out how to do it right first if you haven't done it before. I know this is off topic but I'm sure I heard a story a long time ago about someone dying from having a diesel injector (or soemthing) go through their hand while they were working on it.
