this was a nightmare on the rear of my mr2... i tried one of those pickle bars and it didnt work... i tried prying it off and then using a BFH..... no luck..... 3 jaw puller kept slipping off the edge of the thing, so i tore all the rubber off the old ball joint and it worked a charm giving the 3 jaw puller plenty of grip.
