M.J.H Forums Junkie Location: Newcastle Registered: April 2003	Re: engine been lying around for 12 months Wed, 23 June 2004 09:44 Should take the tappet cover off and drown the cams in oil when you fill the motor.Some oil down the bores and wind over by hand a couple of times then replace plugs and fire up engine. Did this to mine which was sitting for 2 years and no problems at all except for a heap of smoke while it burnt the oil off. [Report message to a moderator]
